Tesco Current Account

We have a couple of old Tesco current accounts which basically haven't used since their interest rates dropped from 3% to 1%.
Given the current climate 1% is now looking pretty good, and I'm trying to find out if that is still the rate on those accounts. I can't remember receiving any correspondence saying they were dropping but as I haven't been actively using those accounts I could well have missed it! I also can't find it on the the tesco bank website. Does anyone know if these accounts are still attracting 1%?

After clicking on whichever tab applies to the age of your account, select  'Rates and Fees'

Simplest way of finding out is for you to log in to your accounts. Where it shows you the rate???
But at he moment about 0.3% I believe?

Mone doesn't give the rate on my account page.
jackieblack link suggests it's 1% still. I might put some money in for a month and see what happens

Sorted, have actually opened the online statement for the first time in forever. It says the rate is 1%.
  • Seems like Tesco Bank aren't having new current account customers ever again, shame.

Only shown on saving accounts, for current accounts it is on the statement.

I currently keep a minimal amount in mine and use it for Tesco shopping and petrol - 2 points per £ - and move money in for any large debit card purchases at 1 point per £8.

Yes, we have two, both paying 1% up to £3000.
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.
