So if I want to change my Florida holiday to next year, it will cost an extra £1425 to do so but they want £1700 deposit on the day we change dates 😮 work that one out! This also doesn't include the Disney Dining Plan we had already booked, but they won't give a refund, How do I get a refund? This is with Ocean Florida

Have they cancelled it or are you doing so?1

No they haven't cancelled it yet & have just told me that it might not even be cancelled but I really don't want to go this year if it's not cancelled.0

have you checked if your travel insurance will cover....eg if FCO guidance still in place for your dates, would they pay out?Shakyx said:No they haven't cancelled it yet & have just told me that it might not even be cancelled but I really don't want to go this year if it's not cancelled.1 -
One thing to think about if you rearrange it for next year, you won't have any insurance cover for COVID-19.Shakyx said:No they haven't cancelled it yet & have just told me that it might not even be cancelled but I really don't want to go this year if it's not cancelled.
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.

I didn't think of that, Do you think I'm better off waiting for them to cancel & then try for a refund then? One thing to think about if you rearrange it for next year, you won't have any insurance cover for COVID-19.0 -
All I can offer is a personal comment
If you decide to go and someone has any issues related to COVID-19, then the cost will run into the thousands if it's bad, could be tens of thousands, you would most likely need to pay a lump sum before any treatment. Their healthcare is ruthless.
I wouldn't tell anyone to go or not, it's a personal choice, but hopefully a more informed choice.

Thankyou, I know what you are saying is right, my husband is saying the same thing, it's a worry, I just hope they cancel & give me a refund.0

Can I ask what date you are due to travel ? Ive not heard of Ocean Florida but have they booked everything for you or do you have paperwork showing another tour operator or suppliers name ? Many tour operators are letting people amend free of charge, so is the extra money they want to charge because the holiday for next year is more expensive or is it amendment fees ?0
