Trust Pilot reviews for Dunelm are averaging 1.9 out of 5. Many like me have spent hundreds on items and they have taken the money yet no sign of goods or dispatch confirmation. I am considering going to my bank to request a charge back as that way I can get my £500 back. Poor form and all attempts to contact them have proved futile. We are all being ignored. How can they continue to trade and fraudulently take money without providing the goods we ordered or confirm with an email dispatch note. They should be named and shamed. Please please please avoid them. I just want my money back and buyers beware. Customer service is non existent and emails don't get acknowledged and you can't call them. Writing a letter to their registered address in Leicester is a waste of time as you get nothing back.

Like most businesses who are 'open' they are running on skeleton staff and dealing with more orders than normal as people are at home shopping online as these types of shops are not physically open.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

I mean people still expect the same service they had prior to the virus, during the time the virus is here. Which is never going to happen.
People need to adjust their expectations.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.7 -

I get moving forwards comments but why advertise the sale of large items when their returns page says no refunds or collection on large items. Every advice their they're website lists contradicts itself. It's so confusing and annoying. If you sell goods then customers are not happy or goods are faulty you should under the consumer act refund in full but they're not. I feel they should cease trading until such time that they can provide a 21st century service irrespective of COVID 19. Businesses should not use this pandemic as an excuse for shoddy practices. If you can't cope then inform all customers of all issues you're faced with. Don't take money and run then close all doors to resolve issues0

Dunelm closed down for three weeks until they worked out how they could work within the confines of the lockdown and social distancing
If they displayed on their website that they could not refund- as many other are doing as they do have access to their repayment section- then you choose whether to order under these exceptions or not.
Did you order after lockdown started?

Well the Dunelm debacle continues.
I ordered at the end of June and accepted a 3-week delay before delivery because I needed the item. Dunelm have sent out several communications warning not to call them to ask that the delivery date to be brought forward because they can't do anything about it...fair enough. Today I've received notification that they got round to picking the item in the warehouse it is OOS.
Dunelm is a complete waste of time.No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.0 -
Went to one of their shops last weekend.
Was stopped at the door and given Instructions on the one way, hand gel, distancing etc.
Sadly, they left it until we came to pay at the till to inform us that they were “card” only.
Would have been nice to have been told that at the door.1
