Studio catalogue

Recently my wife's studio account was hacked but reported it right away. They changed her email address and ran up the account to £1200. But now we have received all the goods and are taking up a fair amou t of space in my home but studio are in no hurry to come pick them up, just wondering what right we have. As they said there investigation is on going.  Communications with the company are poor.

  • Odd you have landed on the sub forum at the bottom of the home page having passed more suitable sub forums on your way down, ah well never mind, personally I would tell them they have 7 days to collect and then you will start charging them £100 a day space rental, should focus their minds.
But i'm a little confused as to why someone would go to the trouble of hacking the account but getting the rubbish, sorry goods delivered to you ?????

If you don't want to keep the items keep them safe until Studio can arrange them to be shipped back, this could take a while at the moment.

Strange (or dumb) criminals that use your account to buy things, but send them to your address

If someone does turn up to collect the goods, make sure that you see some verifiable ID before handing the items over.
It's unlikely to happen but there have been scams reported where unordered goods turn up at an address then shortly afterwards, someone collects them and this someone turns out to be the scammer.

Thank you for all your reply yeah couldn't understand why hack the account but don't change address myself. Studio are now saying there's a 14 day  wait for the fraud to deal with this and could take upto 1 month to sort out. Just think that this is very poor on there part they were still accepting orders for goods after it was reported and sending goods out. Security is very poor.
