Thomas Cook refunds through Opodo

Hi I booked flights through Opodo the flights were with Thomas Cook Airlines, I have tried a few times to get a refund through Opodo with no joy, they just keep saying they are in touch with Thomas Cook and are waiting for a reply. How long do I need to wait, I have also tried my Credit Card (Natwest) and they say to go through Opodo. Can I claim with the Credit Card under Section 75? Thank you.

I don't think you can claim on your credit card because you did not book Direct with Thomas Cook but by a third party i.e. opodo

No section S75 unless the debit says Thomas Cook.
Could try a chargeback, but it is now a issue of timescales. Given they went bust Sept 2019. It will now hinge on when you flights were.

I've also booked Thomas Cook flights through Opodo for April 2019 which were bought in September 2019. I paid in full via credit card but have had a similar experience in terms of Opodo trying to pass the buck and Barclaycard saying that they aren't liable. I've phoned Opodo more than 20 times and have received terrible customer service. Is there anything else that can be done?

You should be able to use chargeback as Opodo sold you a service which they haven’t provided.
