Switched to First Direct but payment hasn't been diverted?

Hi
I switched from Halifax to First Direct 11 months ago.
I won some money on a gambling website (from free spins). I had to withdraw the winnings out onto my old Halifax card as it wouldn't allow me to add my current card.

The withdrawal was processed on 14.04.20 and I've still not received the money? Usually it comes through automatically I believe?
Does anyone know how long these payments tend to take to be redirected, or will it be lost?

So it's been sent to the wrong account and wrong card.

Thank you :)

The best thing to do is to ask your new bank account provider ie First Direct for help although of course you need to ensure that the payment was actually made in the first place

Halifax seem/must have some issues with redirecting credits on switched accounts. As they are often seen here with the same query.

Theses "gambling website" withdrawals crop up from time to time. You are definitely sure it was transferred?

    Thanks for your replies.
Yes it's definitely been processed. I received a withdrawal from their other site to my current card fine, I just couldn't change my card to the current one on this particular site.

Then, as others have said, it's FD you need to talk to. Depending on the size of the win, you might want to consider whether it's worth your time on the phone right now.
