Apply for a student loan

The student loan applications have to be in by 22 May. I have been trying for days and days to get onto the .gov website to apply but the screen simply times out . None of my friends can get on it either. the telephone line has an automated message saying they are unable to take my call. What should I do ? I’m very worried I will miss the deadline.

I tried that the link gets stuck after you answer the first couple of questions. It’s as if the whole site relating to student finance has crashed. Friends have been unable to apply too0
