Latest response from Citrus Holidays after receiving an email regarding a "Refund Credit Note".
This email is only meant for those client who have accepted a refund credit note which was only an option for European Holidays. We had more than 6500 bookings for the month of April & May. It was a difficult for us to segregate the emails as everyone is working from home due to Global Lock down.Which is the reason this email has been send to all our Clients, Who have booked with us.We apologize for this confusion, but your booking is not eligible for a Refund Credit Note.
Their stance continues to be that the holiday is not cancelled...and that they can only refund with a loss of £350 to myself, as the Airline has not refunded them....0 -
You can keep on at them and see what happens, or you can your money back via your cards, totally your choicejam1991 said:Latest response from Citrus Holidays after receiving an email regarding a "Refund Credit Note".

Emirates airlines originally said 'no refunds' only credit vouchers but changed their policy around 4 weeks ago and are now offering full refunds. However, they have said it will take them months to settle all the requests and hinted that it could be August before they complete all the refunds. If you are happy to wait then fine but legally you are entitled to a full refund from Citrus now. I do believe many agents are in difficulty because of the attitude of airlines but when they lie and say they are following CAA guidance, then my sympathy disappears0
