Plusnet broadband renewal

I'm struggling to understand the best time to renew my broadband contract, my current contract expires 16th June, after which I will be charged £35.98 a month rather than £23.99 it's just phone and broadband.
I can renew now for £22.99 a month and pay my first bill today, but my next bill is due around the 20th, I'm sure I pay in advance so am I better off waiting until the next payment has been taken.
I know I could phone them but thought I'd try here first.
Thank you

I would wait until 14th/15th of June. That is what I did with my Plusnet renewal - wait until my minimum term is about to expire to minimise double payment for the last few days.

Your new contract will start on the next scheduled billing date. If the new contract is cheaper, renew ASAP.0
