Having Virgin services

Hi

we completed on a house last week
and we have set up Virgin to install. It will be in my partners name and they ran a credit check which was fine. Now I know you shouldn’t get too much credit initially and we have that and don’t think anything else has performed a credit check.

I am trying not to spend on my credit card and pay it down.

Am I doing ok. I don’t want the mortgage to be removed

Your mortgage won't be removed for wanting broadband and to watch TV.

It'll be removed once you haven't paid the mortgage for a few months and they've repossessed and sold the house.

    Everything is fine.

Credit checks are carried out for all sorts of utility accounts... I wouldn't worry.

Thanks just I know people often want to get things on credit like sofas and cards to pay for items and get told not to.

That's just because people who get sofas on finance are simpletons.

    This ^
In other words if you want something save up and pay for it.
Paying finance for furniture is just plain ridiculous.
