I've been furloughed by my company but have noticed on the Internet that they are advertising 3 jobs, is this legal as they are in the government furlough scheme?

There is no law against it, although it would be rather odd if furloughed staff could do those jobs.0

They might be looking at future plans for when you begin to come out of lockdown though I do agree it’s rather strange if others that are currently furloughed can meet that need....0

Are they new adverts? Some companies forget to un-advertise positions if they aren't currently required or leave positions advertised all the time.0

No rules against it, but then unless they were vastly cheaper what would be the point?
