Sports Direct- Faulty Exercise. Not fit for purpose

Options
I bought a cheap [ £59 ] exercise bike from Sports Direct on line . The self assembly bike arrived on time and appeared ok. However, there is a fault with the bike in that you can not increase the tension and, it makes a horrendous squeak. It is unusable. I contacted there Customer Services using an on line form and was given a case number. The response yo tjis was that the E Mail said they would get in touch between 1 - 3 days. That has now passed and i haven't heard from them. The bike is too big to return via post as it was assembled at home. The faults i have observed appear to be a common problem - i should have read the negative reviews more closely. I am uncertain what i can do, do you have any suggestions. I have looked for telephone numbers and there doesnt appear to be one for Customer Services.

You're just going to have to be patient.  You've logged the fault so it's on record.  You'll get your refund once things are actioned.

You've had a lucky escape.  A £59 exercise bike is basically just junk.  Probably do you more harm than good.
