Hi there
My 10 year old daughter has recently been diagnosed with ASD, I am wItubg for the report, but the ASD doctor who diagnosed her has advised it is with PDA.
Can I apply for any type of financial support. I am a single parent, work part time & own my house will I be able to claim anything, never claimed for any benefits apart from wrc & ctc.

DLA for children is not awarded based on a diagnosis. You need to prove they need a lot more care, attention or supervision than a child of the same age who isn't disabled.

The Cerebra guide is generally acknowledged as one of the best when making a claim based on autism: https://cerebra.org.uk/download/disability-living-allowance-dla-guide/
Depending on the level of DLA your child is awarded, you may be entitled to a disability premium to be added to your Child Tax Credits.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
