Kitchenaid mixer pitted paint

Hi, I finally saved up enough to purchase a kitchen aid mixer, all very exciting but on closer inspection it has got hundreds of tiny pin !!!!!! white dots and in some places the paint work is incredibly pitted and you can see the base metal underneath. I'm really not happy with this, spoke to KA who tried to pass it off as standard, although we know it isn't. They have offered me 10% refund but its not about the money, its about having a mixer that is satisfactory and unfortunately the paint work is shoddy. Can anybody suggest what I can say to them to get them to exchange it please?

When did you purchase it? Who did you buy it from? When did you notify Kitchen Aid about the defective paint?1
