I have just seen the posts re. forcing insurers to massively reduce/suspend automotive insurance premiums during the pandemic shut-down.
I would encourage everyone to raise a complaint and I would be keen to hear how you have fared in obtaining reductions to premiums.
I phoned esure today to log a complaint & ask for a reduction in premium due to Covid.
As a result of our call we received:
  • £30 complaint waiver (we raised a complaint and accepted this token in compensation)
  • £TBC suspension of cover for 1st vehicle
  • c. £56 reduction in premium for 2nd vehicle massively reduced mileage for 3 months
