Re-Mortgage and secure loan in the last 6 months of an IVA

Options
Hello
I wonder if anyone can advise me re a re-mortgage/secured loan.  I am in the last 6 months of an IVA and have been asked to release the equity in my home. If I apply for this with my current lender will this cause issues for my existing mortgage please as I realise I will  probably be turned down.
Thank you in advance.

why would it cause issues, your mortgage company will be aware of your IVA already (they will have been written to at start of IVA)

I would make sure to speak to your IVA company and understand what’s required of you, you might also be expected to shop around, or perhaps use one of their advisors. Of course the aim is to meet the requirements without securing the loan if possible
  • Thank you for your reply, I spoke with them and they are happy for me to go with my present supplier. They have asked me to only find one as well.
