Just started training to run a new business am I entitled to anything?

Hello,
I left my family's business in September last year to train as a beautician and setup my own business. Just before the CoronaVirus put us into lockdown I was just about to startup the new business as I am qualified. The only income I have at the moment is from renting out my old house, however, the rent doesn't cover the mortgage so I am running at a loss, my other half is still employed and has savings and an ISA. I haven't claimed any benefits apart for 8 months now and as a family we are starting to struggle. Am I entitled to anything? So far all I have done is put my mortgage on hold for 3 months.
Many thanks,

Universal Credit maybe possible but if you have savings/capital of more than £16,000 then you will be excluded from claiming. You will need to claim with your partner as a couple. Use a benefits calculator to check entitlement. If you're claiming tax credits a claim for UC will end that claim.0
