Regus office still charging monthly payments despite customers being unable to use the facility

Hello,
I have a Regus office membership which provides co-working office space in an open plan room with multiple desks throughout. Since the Coronavirus outbreak I have asked Regus to suspend taking payments, however they have refused to do so and are still charging me over £100 per month even though I am not allowed to use the facility under current Government guidelines.
This appears to be a blatant example of 'profits over public welfare' and shows a total lack of compassion and support for its customers during these very difficult times.
Is anyone else having this problem?
Any advice would be welcomed.
Thank you.
Dan

Hi Dan,
This seems to be an issue for a few people - check Regus Spaces Trust Pilot. It's not pretty reading. I can't seem to add the link here - make sure you search Regus Spaces Trust Pilot and not just Regus.
Bad practice and a lack of compassion seem to be par for the course with Regus. I'm fighting a separate battle - they're trying to charge me £1800 for my co-working desk, which I only had for one month.
I'm pretty sure i've read 1 or 2 recent trust pilot reviews that talk about your issue with Regus - hopefully you'll find some allies in your battle.
Thanks,

It comes down to the terms of the contract you have with Regus. If you can still gain access, and the offices are serviced, it is your choice not to use the facility, presumably on the basis that the workspaces are closer than 2 metres. That will be why they want the rent. What government guidelines prevent you from using the space?0

Have you checked if you are eligible for a discretionary grant for businesses using shared workspaces?
Check the webiste of the Council where your business operates from, but be quick as funding is limited.0 -
Seems your not alone:
