Cannot change supplier.

Hi, on Sept 23rd 2019 we changed our supplier from Ovo to Eon, although Ovo owed us £500 they would not allow eon to change our Electric so since then we have had no electricity charges, we have smart meters that were fitted by Ovo 20/9/19, but Eon are charging our Gas and we now have £900 credit with Eon, as we dont know how much we owe for gas we could behundreds in debt and its not our fault. Ovo are totally unuprochable and Eon say just wait. HELP

Just read the meter on the wall, subtract the opening reading and convert the volume to kWh and £p.

Why are you unable to change supplier?

Wish i knew, no one will tell us.Our gas has been changed but we pay no one for electric and havent got a clue to who or what we owe.

Your last Ovo bill will show your electricity MPAN.  The first two digits on the lower line will tell you who your DNO is, and their website will tell you who your current electricity supplier is.

Alternatively, dial 105.

You should be able to work out roughly how much you owe - you will have an electric readings from Ovo before Sept 2019 and you know the reading today - then a bit of simple maths assuming say 15p /kwh and 25 p/day plus VAT. 

Or apply for a switch and see who objects.
