Travel agent refusing to take payments by credit card over £100 as they say they're being charged too much with processing fee. Can travel agent decide this or are there rules?

they can refuse to accept a card - the rules prevent them from passing the charge on to you like they used to do.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

If so I know a few places won't take them as they are charged a higher processing fee.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:1

Don’t forget that the protection you get with your debit card won’t necessarily be as good as if you paid by credit card.
The travel agent I use for booking my cruises does not take Amex but does take visa/MasterCard. Before the rules changed they also accepted Amex but charged a 3% fee.0 -
