What's your poison? Sauvignon Blanc has started giving me acid reflux and I can't get my meds without contacting GP as due a review. Contemplating trying a chilled Riocha or maybe Mojito as I've got mint and limes in the fridge. Perhaps I should just experiment until I find something which doesn't come back and bite me!I've started on the Strongbow cider as that is what I would be drinking if I were in our local 'spoons. Too much of that gives me heartburn though. We had a fab white rioja yesterday with chicken in blue cheese sauce.I'll have a go at most things, gin is a favourite. In fact I discovered some forgotten alcohol when I was clearing the garage out so we're trying out various cocktails.White Russian was very nice, so was the martini although I had to make it in a jug as I don't have a shaker. The green olive felt very decadent.Enjoyed the blue lagoon although it did look a little like anti-freeze.Maybe bloody marys tonight.Mojito sounds fab.Cheers m'dears.

No, you're not understanding it. You cannot ask for a refund.saloosarah07 said:
And I am aware of this, I did reply to the first response.Potbellypig said:OP - you literally had the answer you needed in the first response. You can't do anything in regards to asking for a refund as you didn't purchase the voucher. My husband as stated is the one who purchased them is who the refund would go to.ive explained this more than once now.

Unfortunately personal circumstances have no bearings on the legality of whether a refund is applicable on vouchers. When I have bought beauty vouchers in the past they have been non refundable, and if they weren't used by a certain date then there was no come back, you lost out. The fact that they have extended the date is probably all they are required to in this instance, any more is simply down to goodwill.
The vendor may not be in a position to make any refunds, as yourself we and the vendor have all been affected in some way in these unusual times.
If they were to go bust then I assume you would be a creditor that may get something back further down the line.
But I am sorry that you are going through difficult times, I hope things start to look brighter soon.Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

Were you planning on spending the whole £270 in one visit?? That's some head to toe pampering there!!
Or did the voucher allow it to be redeemed against individual treatments, during its validity.
I think an extension is more than fair in the circumstances. We're all going to be in need of some pampering once this is over! How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)0 -
I wonder, if Salon owner decides to open up and offer treatments before expiry of voucher, are you going to accept the treatment booking? If not think yourself VERY lucky they have offered to extend voucher date.An answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0

In reference to your pedantic comment he will!kingfisherblue said:It is your husband who should go down the legal route, not you.Obviously the money will go back to him, don’t know your personal circumstances and frankly not that interested but in our house our money is joint.I haven’t once said I want the money to come back to me - I’ve mentioned numerous times that I’ve asked for it to be refunded to the purchaser using the same method! So thanks for your unhelpful pointless input!
I was trying to point out that it is your husband that should be asking. All through the thread, you have stated that you are the one who has requested the refund, you want to know what your rights are. Not once did you ask what your husband's rights are, or said that he has communicated with the salon. That was my point. I wasn't being pedantic, I was stating a fact. You cannot ask for the money to be refunded to the purchaser. The purchaser himself should be asking.saloosarah07 said:
