Redundancy notice period

Just a quick question, long story short. I'm in the oil and gas industry and now at risk of redundancy. I have only worked for the employer since September last year. They have set out that everyone will get a month's pay for each year served with a minimum of 3 payments, so 3 months wages regardless of time served. In my contract my notice period is 3 months, am I right in saying that if I get made redundant my notice period will still be 3 months? so would get 3 months payment for being redundant and work for 3 months, getting 3 months wages on top of redundancy payment?

Hope that makes sense

It's a contractual agreement and that's not nearly enough info.

Legally you could be let go for no reason, with a weeks notice pay. So you need to just ask your employer.
