How to cancel Prime Video as an add-on to BT TV package?

I renewed my deal with BT and part of that was a 6 month free trial of Prime Video. The guy on the phone said I may as well have it, activate it, immediately cancel it & then i'll have 6 months free without having to pay a thing.

Perfect. Problem is i couldn't find how to cancel it.

Contact BT on the live chat who say that it has to be cancelled through Amazon.

Jump on my Amazon account, see it listed, go to cancel only for when i click to manage the subscription, it sort of extends the page as though it's going to throw up a cancel it link but that section of the page remains blank.

Get on the live chat to Amazon who say it can only be cancelled via BT.

So how does this piggy in the middle cancel it? I would prefer to be able to do it online via my account rather than spend forever and a day on the phone in a queue eating up all my break time at work.

I followed that but only saw a link to renew. initially I didn’t dare to click through in case it charged me.
Said sod it this morning and clicked through. Thankfully the next page is where you’re asked if you want to cancel.

Fascinating how the market has created. Indeed, even Sky are presently set to add Netflix to Sky Q. What individuals need is a solitary menu structure that they can become acclimated to, thus why these television boxes (BT television, SKY Q, VM TIVO) proceed. Beforehand each organization needed some restrictiveness yet I think Netflix has been the impetus for change. Changing HDMI contributions on the television and having separate gadgets isn't what individuals need.
