Good evening,

I wonder if you can help me with problem described below,

On November 2018 i purchased Expensive Razer laptop from Amazon Warehouse UK.

Last month i decided to clean inner cooling system and when i unscrewed bottom panel I saw that battery is massivly swollen.
If I did not notice that it could have cased fire and burn whole flat - huge fire hazard situation.

There are also other problems with laptop like screen bleeding in one corner and very noisy fans (cleaning did not help at all). Basically disaster which cost me GBP1570.

Contacting Razer support directly is no go as they are one of the worst customer service i witnessed.I already have ongoing PayPal/Resolver claim against them.

So my question is what options do I have here to return the laptop?
Shall I contact Amazon CS? - I doubt it helps as it is already out of 1 year warranty.

Regards,

 Martin.

You can claim under the 2015 consumer rights act, but at 18 months old, you will need an independent report to state that it was inherently fault. I.e. your own usage has not caused the problems.

Batteries are not usually included in warranties.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

You did notice the battery was swollen so you need to work out what , if anything you can claim for.  As above, after 6 months any fault needs proof by you that it was inherent at time of purchase.
You cannot claim for anything that may have happened, ie your whole flat burning down.  Not least because IT DID NOT HAPPEN.
