'freestanding' integrated fridgefreezer

Hello all,
I'm in the processing of buying my first house and should be moving in roughly 4 weeks. The property has been empty for a few months so no issues there with the current situation.
My plan was going to be to renovate the kitchen before moving in, but who knows when that may be. In said renovation the plan is to have an integrated fridge freezer.
My question is, in lieu of being able to actually do this work, I still need to buy a fridge freezer and don't want to buy one that I know will be temporary and cost me money in replacing ASAP. Would it be feasible to just purchase an integrated fridge freezer and use it freestanding in the meantime?
Thanks for any help/suggestions!

Yes freezer will work ok without the fancy door fronts. Doors will have to be opened by gripping sides though as no handles?

Be aware that the capacity of integrated fridges and freezers can be considerably less than a free standing version of the same overall dimensions (including carcase and door of the integrated one)

Why not?  A comment like that without explanation isn't any help to anyone.

If the model you are considering has a ice/ water dispenser, then consider also if you will need to change the filter  from the back or front of the fridge. Our previous model had the filter at the back that was a pain to get to. Eventually we got a plumber in to resite the filter to somewhere accessible. At which point the fridge died and the replacement model had the filter just inside the fridge in the front!

Bear in mind that when you come to design your new kitchen you may be limited by the size/design of your ff.
Do you have a garage?  If funds allow, would buying an inexpensive ordinary ff that could be moved into the garage later be an option?

That's what we did - and the extra fridge/freezer space does come in handy.

or buy a cheapy off ebay/gumtree and then it doesn't matter if its replaced as you can sell it on for about what you bought it for.
