PayPal

Does anyone know how to contact a real person at PayPal? My EBay account was hacked and a £1300 purchase was made using my linked PayPal  account. I realised quickly and sorted it out with EBay. The Seller never sent the item and has refunded the payment to PayPal. I had raised a dispute with PayPal who have rejected the dispute. I have tried to call them have used their message center, which just says someone will get back to me in an hour and emailed them. Any ideas greatfully received.

Thanks for the answer but it is not a problem with EBay but with PayPal.

You say you got the money back.  The priority is getting the accounts (EBay and PayPal) secure, new passwords etc and any other accounts with similar log in details.  haveibeenpwned can help to track down the account that was originally hacked.

Also, what has this go to do with Coronavirus?

The members on the eBay board are the ones with most experience of issues concerning PayPal.

The problem is I have not got the money back. The accounts are safe. PayPal have the money I think. I posted here because the reason you can not get through to PayPal is because of Coronavirus according to their message.

I wouldn't trust any random stranger on t'interweb who offers to personally investigate anything - especially someone who only joined the forum yesterday.
