Am I entitled to a refund?

Options
Advice please.
In October 2018 I brought a dress, tiara and veil to wear at my wedding this year. They priced to £1000. When I tried them on I told the shop my wedding was 18 months away and they insisted all items would be fine to buy so early in advance.
Anyway my wedding got postponed so I decided to get all my wedding bits out, baring in mind all items have been in storage in the same packaging they came in.
The tiara and veil have gems falling off it and the metal is changing colour
The dress - beading is falling off, I've found a hole and the seems have come loose
I've emailed the shop and theyve said I can only return or exchange items within 14 days after that the only advice they can give me is to sell on, but how can I see on when the items are falling apart?
They've also offered to fix the items so I can sell on, but I wouldn't make the money back.
Does anyone know where I stand legally, should Ibe able to get a refund? The items looks fine in the shop so I never got them out until yesterday
I'm absolutely gutted and I really don't know where to go with this now

You bought wedding items in 2018 and never though to inspect them on delivery, until 2020.
I think you have lost your £1000 or you could take up the shop's offer to have the items fixed.
