Cineworld Voucher

Cineworld have told me that, because my Gift Voucher was bought "Over the counter" as opposed to online, I cannot have a refund only an extension of the date. Except that they, nor anyone else, can say when that date might be. So they can just hold on to the value of the voucher, even though they can't let me use it because they're closed. Is that right?

Yes, I think so. There's no general right to get a refund of gift vouchers.

As we have to tell people. You (or whoever bought it) paid for a voucher. Which they walked away with in this case. So they got what they paid for. The fact at the moment that you can not redeem it is not their fault. we have a e- voucher with about £40 left on it but runs out November wonder if we will get a extension on it ?
