Hi all,
Our Sky discount is expiring and it looks like Sky aren't really offering great deals at the moment. Just wondered what other services people have. We have a 4yo so kids tv is required. I've looked into Prime and Netflix. Is there anything else anyone can recommend?

A Now TV box/stick would give you Nickelodeon, Nick Junior, Nicktoons, Boomerang, Cartoon Network and cartoonito for £3.99 a month

The key to these sort of questions is what does the user actually want to watch first .

Kids programmes with some box sets available as well. Would like to keep Sky Atlantic and Living but doesn’t seem possible without sky.

Prime Video offers a few addon channels aimed at young children as addon subscriptions - notable Discovery Kids, Azoome, More Milkshake and Pokemon. I haven't checked the prices, but addon channels are usually 4.99 to 7.99 p/m, usually with a 7-30 day trial, and no minimum term. You sometimes see 3 month deals on various channels as well. Netflix also has a Netflix Kids section. I can't speak to what's on there, though.
If you get a Roku, you can access Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and Now TV on there, along with most of the other major VoD/PPV services such as Rakuten. There are also hundreds of channels showing all sorts of stuff, of wildly varying quality.
If you have a Smart TV, you may also be able to get these services through that.
Personally, I prefer the Fire Stick UI but you can't get Now TV on there.
As for my TV service, I've just cancelled Sky. I currently have Netflix 4K, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and I've taken addon subscriptions to Shudder, Arrow, Starzplay, MGM and BFI Player. I tend to keep Shudder, Arrow and Starz and then alternate MGM and BFI with other channels like Arrow TV, Sundance Now, and Mubi. I've never run out of stuff to watch - heck, my watchlist on my Fire Stick has a whole heap of stuff in there - but I don't have kids to entertain so YMMV.

She would always like to say,
Why change the past when you can own this day?

I think the Roku stick seems the best best as we already have Prime but may get a Now Tv entertainment pass which includes the box sets we want  and Disney plus on there. Would be more then half the price of Sky unless they miraculously offer me a better deal in the next month.  Unless anyone can suggest anything different where you can get Now Tv, Disney plus, and prime?

Perhaps a new games console or smart TV, but these would be a lot more expensive than the Roku stick.
