Another vote for Makita. You can get unbranded battery if your dies prematurely and every tool I know of can be bought as " naked " - no battery no charger so you can add what and when you need it. LXT is modern enough, nearly every tradesman have them, so even with newer stuff coming out, it will be around for good few years to come. Quality of Makita is more than you'll ever need for most tasks. No point in buying cordless Festool and use it twice a year,or buying from lidl or similar and smashing it in 6 months....1
