It is per calendar month so pay in £1,000 per calendar month in any amount(s) you wish and of course you can withdraw as much as you want as well1

Yes to your first question, and no to your second question.Allen6061 said:Hi, I opened a FlexDirect account before the rate reduction and have only just had enough account details to allow me to transfer the £2500 into it. I need to pay in £1000 a month for 12 months to achieve the rate. Am I correct in thinking I can transfer in £1000 and take it back out the same day or the following day? And what monthly intervals do I need to do this? Within 1 month of opening the account and the same date every month following? Thanks,Allen
With the first, why wouldn't you be able to? It's a current account. If you earned exactly £1,000 per month and had this paid in, would you expect to have to wait to be able to spend it?
With the second, that's answered in your account T&Cs where they define a month as a "calendar month".1
