My car finance finished last month and I have made my last payment - the car was supposed to be collected weeks ago as I am handing it back however the company who collects the cars are not working due to the problem with social distancing. My car is currently sat on my drive with no insurance and is on sorn due to tax running out. The car is quite expensive and I am worried who is liable for car if anything happens to it. I have sent numerous e-mails to company but had no reply at all.

Check the Covid statement and Q&As on the finance company website.
If the car is parked safely on private property there is no need for you to insure it. It is the responsibility of the finance company,
Take plenty of photos to show where it is parked and to record its condition.0 -
