I any currently battling with Hotels.com. I have received a voucher for a cancelled booking. the booking was for two rooms in a hotel in Krakow.  When I've tried to re book for next year 2021 and apply the voucher I am told that the voucher can only be used for single room bookings and not multi room booking. when ive spoken to them they are now saying use the voucher to book one room they will then issue another voucher for the balance and then when that is received book your second room!!!! the voucher will take up to 30 days to arrive! Hotels.com are taking the absolute mick! what are my rights on this?
You are entitled to a cash refund.
If you agree to a voucher you might end up having to accept the voucher T&Cs.
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.

  • I have a booking with Travelodge on 23 May.  I haven’t received a cancellation yet.  Mine is also a Saver Rate (non refundable) so I will wait to see if they cancel and offer a refund.  I don’t want the voucher as I don’t want to rebook. I was just there for the Chester Races - not happening.  It will be interesting to see if the CMA investigation changes things.
  • Hi, I have fallen into the same trap, booked 5 rooms at hotels.com for a family holiday at a cost of £3000, accepted the voucher as we are happy to book for next year but voucher will only let us book one room and no refund on the voucher so will need to stay for 4 weeks if we book one room and the rest of the family will loose their money how can that be right.
