Car insurance - monthly payments not an option

Could it be because I checked 4 comparison websites, aviva and direct line, all these soft searches adding up?0

So that’s it then...no explanation...worrying times when computer says no and that’s it. A theme for a dark mirror episode for sureDeleted_User said:Only you see soft searches.0 -
I'de call Experian when possible, it could for example be as simple as Address format they have used.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0

I had this with Direct Line - no idea why. FWIW I have a 999 Experian score so there seems to be no rhyme or reason. Went with Quote me happy in the end with monthly payments no problem.

Sounds a fairly dull episode.tatartan said:.So that’s it then...no explanation...worrying times when computer says no and that’s it. A theme for a dark mirror episode for sure
Perhaps better suited to Last of the Summer Wine?0 -
I have many ideas. Not going to give them all away but they generally revolve around the same concept. Computer says no to car insurance, computer says no to a holiday that fulfills someone’s wish list before they pass over. Computer says no to someone applying to the cycle to work scheme. That one would be the finaleDeleted_User said:

My Direct Line policy is on auto renew but I had to phone to arrange payment as my card had changed. I was asked if I wanted to make a single or monthly payments.0 -
It could even be down to the company. They might just want to have less risk and more cash flow. A lot of people take out insurance but cancel the direct debit. Maybe they prefer people to pay up front to protect themselves?0
