You need to provide more details. Are you saying that you gave a meter reading after 6 months and you then got a bill for £2000. What was the reading you took when you moved in and then 6 months later. Why are you only doing something about this 2 years later. How is your home heated i.e. do you have gas as well.0

During the period Oct 17 -March 18 you would have been on nPower's Standard (ie expensive) tariff.
As Stewie asks - why raise the problem now - you can't do anything about it.
