Tradesmen quote websites

Hi all
without risking too much by way of product placement and respecting the current situation, I was wondering what are the best websites for touting for potential building jobs for when all this is over. Have had a surveyor over today for a potential insurance claim (no joy there of course). It involves the render layer above the dampcourse at the back having loosened away from the wall after all that heavy winter rain and crumbling slightly (likely due to a high sand mix in the render material). So it really needs a builder to redo it (with a bell drip installed above the dpc level). We have an alleyway so there would be no need for any physical contact as such. So any comparison website recommendations would be most appreciated.

Even with a web site for the purpose you are looking for, it is a crap shoot to get s good tradesman. The really good ones have enough work coming in from regular clients & personal recommendations that they don't need to advertise. The less reputable types & the ones just starting out in the trade will most likely tout themselves and back up their ratings with dubious reviews.
I have used one of those sites in the past for a plastering job - Got a pair that did a passable job. Far from perfect, and left a lot of mess that I had to clean up. Won't go there again.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
