Please could someone recommend a router as I have no idea what I am looking at/for. I don't need anything fancy just a replacement to the one that came free with the provider, maybe slightly better.
The router I have I have to keep re-setting regularly (not by turning just off and on but via pressing the re-set button).
I think I read it could be because it may have too many devices registered to it? we do have a lot of devices that use the internet but they are not all on at the same time.
It also needs to be simple to set up (I am assuming most routers are but just in case).
Thank you

Resetting it may put it into a learning mode because it thinks its losing connection. Speed goes up and down for a while whilst it
finds that stable sweet spot for speed and drop outs. Before it completes that you may have reset it again.
Does your ISP require and supply login data? I know some supply routers all set to go and fairly locked down.

Re-setting is the only thing that fixes it, we do have ALOT of devices I believe that is what the issues is,
I did some googling and I believe Plusnet do provide the information needed.0 -
Factory Reset the router setup again with few devices connected and test .
