Father's CCJ on my credit file!?

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can offer some clarity...
Essentially, my Dad received a CCJ last year which hasn't been paid and has appeared on my credit file.
Although we share the same first and last names, I know the CCJ is not mine because Northampton County Court confirmed it was issued for a parking fine on my Dad's car in Nov 2019 and is associated with his address, where I haven't lived since 2017!
I've called Northampton County Court twice and was advised to take different courses of action on both occasions.
First, I was told to complete an N244 form and pay £255 to appeal for the judgement to be set aside.
The second time, I was told to get my Dad to email his proof of identity to the County Court Business Centre (CCBC) and have the date of birth associated with the case updated. This would then correctly transfer the CCJ to my Dad and allow me to contact the credit agencies so I can disassociate from the CCJ.
I'm actually quite shocked that such a mistake was made! I'd be incredibly grateful if someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks,
Lee

Have you contacted the credit reference agencies? The CCJ gets put on the Trust Register and the CRA's take it from there. Get the CRA to disassociate you from your fathers address (I assume you have no financial connections to that address, like legacy bank accounts you have never bothered changing over?).
No point applying to set aside as the CCJ is not yours but your fathers. Did Northampton say it was your DOB on it, your fathers, or none? As it's to do with a parking company fine, you may get a better response in the parking fine board.1
