Hi, I purchased!! a mobile phone from Quick mobile fix £550.00 but they kept delaying my order delivery date at close to 5 weeks I decided to cancel my order to which they then said they need 14 working days to refund my payment (credit card) purchase. Today I emailed them asking what had happened to my refund as it’s been 18 working days since cancellation of order, they replied with.....
Hi andy

Owing to the current Government guidelines a few of our departments are working with limited staff numbers and some refunds are taking longer than usual. I have requested our finance department to look into your order and they have advised that you will be receiving your refund on or before the 1st of June. I am aware this date is longer than our standard timeframe but I can assure you we are all working to ensure services to our customers are uninterrupted as much as possible. We appreciate your patience and are apologise for any inconvenience caused
How do I stand as this seems to be a regular thing even without using covid as an excuse from what I’ve now read on reviews of this company.
TIA
ANDY

You just stand by needing to allow them some time.

I personally wouldn't allow them any more time and don't trust them an inch from what is happening I would call your card company and request an immediate chargeback
