Hi folks ....I have reached my £20k target today!!!!!.....I will still be paying loads off each month ....I have only hit it early as my taxi was wrote off and if anyone usually notices my sig you will see that my debt total has jumped up by over £15k today due to the buying and financing of a new taxi...this is loan 4....
Loan 3 will not be clear until the end of the month but these bits will be added to the paid off total as soon as I pay them.
As the whole total for loan 3 was calculated in my outstanding totals and they are giving me a rebate of £1146.59 this is what has brought my clearing total to £20k today.
Hope you all can understand this as it's complicated to explain.
Think I may up the 20k to 30k challenge..will have a think about that one.

  • Hi everyone.

Taxi - you did it :j :j :j . Big congratulations on reaching £20,000. :T . I've had a bit of a lurk on your diary, so I know you've got other stuff going on this month, but don't let it take the shine off your achievement here. Hope everything works out for you.

Well done to everyone else - we're getting there.

    Have a good day.

Thanks you two...it feels like cheating but it isn't as it was original debt and has been paid off and I've also upped my total owing to reflect the new car.

    Well done taxi! :T :T

I've been overpaying the odd bit lately, will update signature when the secured loan goes out at the end of the month.

    Then it's August payments :j

I am confused, dont want to seem all negative etc but surely if I take out a £20k loan to pay back £20k worth of other debts then that doesnt count?

I am counting mine as how much my debt has gone down by rather than how much I have spent or consolidated, am I doing something wrong.?

P.S on a positive note, paid back over £2k this month
