Converted some change from my jar......and paid the resultant £10 straight off the debt.....not much, but it all helps!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Hi All, sorry not been on for a while. I went a bit mad on my spending spree in Blackpool but got the exact wedding dress I wanted for only 10% of the cost here in Scotland, about a year's worth of clothes for me, school stuff for the kids and stuff for OH and bits and pieces for Christmas pressies (so much cheaper) and still managed to pay off £1600 this month (my bonus came through).
Feeling a little guilty about going so nuts but in hindsight I bought a lot with my money and it would have cost me an awful lot more elsewhere.
Just got to sort out my expenses from my business trip so I'm not out of pocket!!!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -

I do Taxi but its not worth the excess really. I'm getting one from my OH when he moves in in a month's time but not sure what to do until then. Might ask on Freecycle.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Am just languishing under the £10k mark, but I do have another payment to make by the end of the month, just not sure how much that will be yet as I need to tie in my holiday on 24th (and the fact that I have another coming up in Sept although I have a big birthday so am hoping I will get some birthday cash to go towards all this decadence)
Am still on for my July and August minimum payments and then upping them in September (but if I spend much on my hols in September then I will have to put it off until October but all of that depends on when the pay negotiations go through at work - it is meant to go through in September but generally is delayed by quite a bit)£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
