Getting a refund for pre-booked cinema tickets

I'm not disagreeing with you however we don't what systems they actually have in place, if all they have is a chip and pin machine and that needs to be used to refund then there's not a lot that can be done until they can reopen. It's all well and good saying they should have other ways to deal with it but if they don't have them then they don't have them. Maybe once all this is over they will realise that they need to put alternative ways of refunding in place and will set it up for the future. it's not like they have chosen to close and do this, it is government enforced lockdown that is causing inconvenience to everyone but it needs to be done so people will just have to wait.ThumbRemote said:
No, it really isn't. It might be reasonable if their cinemas were open, but it's utterly unreasonable if the cinema is closed and it's impossible to attend.Aylesbury_Duck said:
I think you're being a bit harsh on Empire here - their policy of refunding in-person sales only in-person is perfectly reasonable and understandable.
