Watch this space. This issue is going to rumble on.

"A clash is brewing between the EU Commission and some member states over EU rules that allow airline passengers to chose between a cash refund or vouchers if their flight is cancelled due to the coronavirus.

On Wednesday, a dozen member states argued, in a letter, for vouchers-only as a temporary move, which the EU commission says is against the existing rules."

Will this be the start of more member states leaving the EU, or being more selective in which EU directive they obey
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

I believe France has already changed their rules but vouchers can be exchanged for cash after x months. It's that or most of the holiday companies will go bust due to cash flow issues.

No chance Germany has already indicated they are willing to put extra into the EU due to the effects of the virus.  The other countries will all be wanting some of that money.

I wonder if they would have done that if the UK was still in the EU?

Yes Germany want to run it and are willing to pay to do it. They are probably one of the few countries that are secretly glad the UK has left. But i am sure we would have been getting a nice bill anyway if we were still in.
