Need clarity for umbrella workers

Hi, I was working for an agency who paid through an umbrella company. This company say there is not enough clarity over how much furlough should be paid. The issue is, is it 80% of the day rate or 80% of NMW. We have been waiting for six weeks now. Is there any light at the end of the tunnel about when this will be clarified. The lack of clarity means we aren't getting anything at the moment, not even minimum wage.

There's been lots of threads about umbrella companies and even with clarity it's very unlikely that they will furlough you because most of them don't.Providing you don't have savings of more than £16,000 then look at claiming Universal Credit. Be aware that if you're claiming tax credits a claim for UC will end that claim. Use a benefit calculator.0
