I pay my son's university fee ie he doesn't actually get a loan. I can find info on students who get a loan but nothing for students who are funded by parents. Thank you

You would need to speak to the Uni but it's unlikely there will be any refund.

Thhank you sadly I think so too. Money for nothing. They're not even doing an exam. Just told to come back Oct. We paid when lectures were on strike too. Bit of a worry since he's studying medicine0

I know a number of people that are currently at University and also my wife's job is at a HE college. All are doing remote / online lectures. Is your son's Uni really doing nothing and just sent them home to lounge about?1

If they extend the course into next year and it's completed albeit late, that's a satisfactory resolution.0

what year is he in? if in last year then he will have done all he needs and if in early years, plenty of time to catch up - it really won't matter - hopefully he is involved in the coronavirus effort somehow, that is crucial training.
In our last year we were sent on 3 month elective before finals, 3 months on a caribbean beach with the odd textbook and a bit of time on the wards, no teaching though. Still passed the exams and qualified.0
