Payment deferrals if lockdown is extended

Hi all, I’m on my second month of a payment deferral for my credit cards, car loan and bank loan due to covid19.

My query is the lenders have all granted a 3 month period as a maximum but if lockdown is extended then what will happen? I will be unable to go back to work and resume my payments.

its giving me sleepless nights I’m really worried about the future.

Are you working in an industry that is likely to still be closed beyond June?

Yeah, we make sporting goods in a factory, canoes etc. I have chronic asthma as well so I’m just panicked about everything.

    Are you currently furloughed?

It will probably be up to your employer whether they can start up or not and assuming they can put in the necessary safety measures to allow for social distancing.

Well yes you have. I would think it things carry on past June the banks will be have to be understanding.  In any case surely you are in at least 80%

Yes I am. My partner is zero hours and they have refused to furlough him.

Think the majority of factories would have gone back by end of June, 2 months nearly.

It's only my opinion but I doubt very much lockdown will be extended past May let alone June
