Morning all DS gone to work my helper is doing his work and I am off to take mum for a blood test as she has a 2ww appointment .Yesterday i could have cheerfully throttled her as 2 weeks ago she called me at 5 in the morning to tell me she was hemoraging i think not mother she called the doctor when they opened and they have referred her so as i was registering her for the appointment online unbeknownst to me she was ringing them saying she was too scared to leave the house due to covid so they cancelled the referral cue 2 weeks of ringing me every day to say she hadn't had the appointment i called to chase it yesterday to discover what she had done she says odd things to me and my girls but we ignore it so i expect she thought they would too i despair anyway she is back on the waiting list and has been told not to call the doctor again and we will deal with it all for her luckily we all 3 have POA i am taking the forms to the doctors today so they can photocopy to her notes 
Right better get on have a great day whatever you are up to xx

Well, rain has stopped play! It was glorious outside, blue sky and very warm sun so I took the opportunity to re-pot the veggies. I had just about finished and the heavens have opened!

Monna & Gers, I love the flowers from B&W, always beautiful and it's lovely to unwrap each one. 
Hope you bet everything sorted with your Mum Bella, what a mess!

Well, I'll have to find something to do indoors now.

I've been busy making scrub bags and someone is picking them up later, seems they are going to different hospitals and care homes all over the NW, I thought it was just for our local hospital but as they've had a good response & further requests it makes sense. I think there are quite a lot of groups springing up, it's on FB & the main one is called Bag the bug. I did have a nice surprise last night, someone off the local group messaged me to get in touch. It turns out to be a friend I lost touch with a good few years ago, we were mature students along with another 2. She has bumped into the other 2 now & again & knows their current addresses and has suggested we meet up once we're free again.

Wmf - I remember you well, we had a few conversations.Glad you & Monna decided to come back.

My meat pack has just been delivered. so I don't need to think about tonights tea

Hi everyone
Lovely and sunny here too...hope it lasts all afternoon. I've been down to mam and dad's this morning and had a natter outside in the sun. DD came round with little grand daughter too -  it was lovely to see them both for a short while. Lots of smiles and waves and shouting from little one but it must be so confusing for her.
DD facetimed yesterday so I could watch her playing - she's going to be a handful!
Eldest DD got her bag back. A girl messaged her to say it had been found in the coffee shop here she worked - not the same shop it was stolen from but one in the same chain about 10 minutes walk away! Most strange - DD has no idea where it was actually found - her bank cards was missing but everything else was still in the bag. She was very pleased she hadn't already paid the fine on the library books!
Well I'm going to move as I have a few jobs to do

FInally finished setting up the new computer with a modicum of swearing and tantrums. Only files to transfer now, all apps installed and browser profile updated. So I'm back and I'll see you in the morning for faster computer related shennanigans...:)

Have just made leek n potato soup,  n air fried the peeli
ngs with chilli flakes n garlic salt .Scrummy  😋 Will top with grated cheese, n dip in garlic mayo 
It's quite chilly here today, so need comfort food
