Wonga Defaults Every Month

Options
My credit file shows that I’m in defaults with Wonga and have been since 2017. However I had paid the account off in 2017 and I’m confused and unsure how to get this removed from my credit score given that I’m not able to contact Wonga.

Please can anyone help me with this a it’s evidently having a negative affect on my Credit Score...

No.  You are interpreting the available data incorrectly.  The account is not being defaulted each month.  The account would have only been defaulted the once, most likely sometime during 2017.  The account will be automatically removed from your credit file(s) six years from the date of default.  Have you checked all three credit files?

And welcome to the forum  :)

What you are seeing is the monthly status update, it will show, as W2L points out above, for 6 years regardless of what you do.
