The terms of your licence is your contract so you would need to check these out.

You can certainly reduce your costs by removing your caravan. If your caravan is occupying a space that does not belong to you, you are in the same boat as renters as you are preventing the park from reselling the space you have.

Does your van need to be there?
    • All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's
    • When on someone else's be it a road, a pavement, a right of way or a property there are rules. Don't assume there are none.
    • "Free parking" doesn't mean free of rules. Check the rules and if you don't like them, go elsewhere
    • All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's and their rules apply.

At the moment there has be no guidance on this, it may change. You could try negotiating a discount as is not the park owner fault you can’t go, They will still have costs. So be more likely to be able to give a discount rather than a refund.

This is the advice from the Government:

I would definitely start by trying to negotiate a discount.  While the park owner still has costs, they will be much reduced as there aren't any visitors to the site.
