I've been wearing makeup everyday as usual.I've had another pass over my eyeshadows and got rid of some more, these have all been with me for several years:Benefit Where There's Smoke - gorgeous smoky pewter colour but not a good look on me.Natural Collection Asteroid - gave this to DD, it is too dark for me, I do love these little singles in other colours though.Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Palette - not using this so DD has taken it to try.Too Faced Romantic Eyes Palette - I've depotted two shades but the rest has gone.Too Faced Naked Eyes Palette - again I've depotted two shades.I had a Too Faced obsession at one time. At least the cardboard packaging can be recycled. I've put aside several other single eyeshadows to try out this month, if I decide to get rid I will offer them to DD. I've said before that whittling down my makeup stash is a process for me, I keep having another pass through them and letting more things go, I do the same with clothes.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

I opened my elf liquid eyeshadow. It had gone to powder. I'm really shocked. The catrice yesterday was no massive loss as the colour was not great. To have a second eyeshadow go the same way the day after is a real bummer.
Honestly things are getting werid this week have had dishes fall from the fridge, broken many things, I feel like a real clumsy and unlucky this week.

I own 2 Too Faced palettes, the Natural Eyes (Emma bought me this for my birthday a couple of years ago so it’s in tin packaging) and the Chocolate Gold palette. There are probably only a couple of colours in each palette that I don’t like. I did have the Sweet Peach one but didn’t get on with the fragrance yet I find the Chocolate Gold fragrance comforting each morning. Haven’t fancied any others even when I’ve seen them in TK Max heavily discounted. Emma has the Gingerbread palette and the Vegas Nay holiday one from years ago. She says the Gingerbread one is not great but absolutely loves the Vegas Nay one.dolly84 said:I've been wearing makeup everyday as usual.I've had another pass over my eyeshadows and got rid of some more, these have all been with me for several years:Benefit Where There's Smoke - gorgeous smoky pewter colour but not a good look on me.Natural Collection Asteroid - gave this to DD, it is too dark for me, I do love these little singles in other colours though.Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Palette - not using this so DD has taken it to try.Too Faced Romantic Eyes Palette - I've depotted two shades but the rest has gone.Too Faced Naked Eyes Palette - again I've depotted two shades.I had a Too Faced obsession at one time. VALM - I've kept the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette. By the time the Sweet Peach and Chocolate palettes were released I had stopped buying eyshadow pretty much, I do have a big palette called A Few of my Favourite Things which I love most of the shadows in. I've never actually tried Colourpop, I love my Urban Decay shadows and think they do really good matte shadows, the little Natural Collections singles are great and I particularly love the Milk Chocolate colour they do, I also have a MUR White Chocolate palette which is really good for the price.

I googled the palette you mentioned. It does look very pretty. I’ve always been mindful of choosing a palette that I know I’ll use the majority of colours contained in it and feel now I have enough in the colour families that I like. Whilst Colourpop shadows are lovely I’m glad that I don’t have the access to them that the US do as there was a time not so long ago that they were releasing stuff practically daily. To be honest, if there’s one good thing that has come out of the current situation is the slow down on over consumerism. The slow down of the makeup Industry is refreshing.dolly84 said:VALM - I've kept the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette. 2 more UUS
Clairol Root Touch up kit. Looking human again. Will probably have to buy another as don’t know when I will see my hairdresser again.
Bare Minerals Gold mask. This was in my advent calendar. I was impressed by the smell (like chocolate) and colour (MRM said I looked like “that woman from James Bond”) but it dried my skin out. My skin had a bit more clarity after using it but I didn’t like the dryness. Glad to try it without having bought a full size. WNBA.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
